Investigation Continues Into Stolen Vehicle

Arnold, CA — Some new information has come to the surface regarding a stolen vehicle that was found in Calaveras County last week.

As reported earlier, an unidentified person driving a stolen pickup truck escaped following a chase on August 28 that ended in the Arnold/White Pines area. The suspect got away on foot, but law enforcement officials confiscated several firearms that were near the stolen Toyota Tundra. The following day, additional weapons were located nearby, bringing the total number to 16. The San Andreas CHP Office now says that the most of the weapons, if not all, were from a burglary in Tuolumne County.

The suspect/suspects still remain at large. Anyone with information should contact the San Andreas CHP Office at 209-754-3541.
