Jamestown, CA – Caltrans will close a stretch of Highway 49 this Friday in Jamestown during the morning commute. Crews will be shutting down the eastbound lane of the Highway108/49 from the beginning of the Sonora Bypass to before the Woods Creek Bridge for paving.
The work is scheduled for Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Motorists should expect 5 minute delays. Caltrans says a signed detour is in place giving alternate routes for motorists to take whenever possible.
