The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Stanislaus National Forest from 11 am Friday to 11 pm Friday.
Low pressure approaching the coast will bring a period of low humidity and gusty winds to the Sierra Nevada.
* Winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph are expected.
* Relative humidity will drop to as low as 16 percent.
* Gusty winds, low humidity and dry fuels can lead to critical fire behavior.
