Sonora, CA — Hear about efforts to battle the Rim Fire, and the work that will need to be done to curtail erosion and flooding during the winter months.
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature past Rim Fire Incident Commander Jerry McGowan, BAER Team Spokesperson Don Ferguson, and Stanislaus National Forest Fire Management Officer Chris Schow.
The Rim Fire started on August 17th, and at 257,135 acres, is the third largest fire in California’s recorded history.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
