Sonora, CA — Motorists can now travel on two of the Mother Lode mountain passes.
Snow prompted the closure of Highway 120 Tioga Pass on Tuesday evening and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass and Highway 108 Sonora Pass on Wednesday morning. This afternoon Caltrans opened Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass and Highway 108 Sonora Pass.
Highway 120 Tioga Pass remains closed east of Crane Flat. There is no word from Yosemite National Park officials as to when it may reopen.
