Yosemite, CA — Motorists can travel on all three Mother Lode mountain passes once again. This morning Highway 120 Tioga Pass opened. Yosemite National Park officials kept the roadway closed yesterday as a precaution due to icy conditions.
Snow prompted the shutdown of all three passes earlier this week. Caltrans closed Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass and Highway 108 Sonora Pass Wednesday morning. Both reopened on Thursday morning.
