Mother Lode Views will continue its series talking with the individual Tuolumne County Supervisors.
This weekend Supervisor Sherri Brennan will talk about how the new budget will directly impact her District One, which includes the greater Sonora area. Specifically, money was set aside for the future law and justice center, and funding will benefit the Central Sierra Arts Council that is headquartered in Sonora.
Brennan will also speak about the devastation that she and other ranchers witnessed during the Rim Fire. The numbers are still being calculated, but she projects that at least a couple hundred cattle were lost in the fire.
The following week’s show will feature District Four Supervisor John Gray.
