Sonora, CA — There is a solo vehicle crash on Highway 49 in Tuolumne County. The CHP reports a pick-up truck has gone off the highway near O’Hara Drive in Sonora. The pick-up rolled over and is on its side. An ambulance is headed to the scene. Motorists will want to take caution in the area as there will be a lot of activity.

Update 6 pm: The CHP reports the northbound lane will be closed and officers will be directing on way traffic. Motorists will want to use caution in the area as traffic is getting backed up. An ambulance is on the scene, but there is no word on injuries.
Update 6:15 pm: The CHP now reports Highway 49 has been closed down and officers are directing one way traffic.
Update 6:30 pm: The CHP reports minor injuries. Officers are still directing traffic on the highway.
Update 6:45 pm: Highway 49 has been closed with just one-way controlled traffic for about 30 minutes now. There is no word on when the highway will reopen.
