The No. 5 ranked Redskins beat the No. 12 ranked Hughson Huskies by a score of 40 to 21. Calaveras now moves on to face No. 4 ranked Ripon on Friday with a season record of 10 and 1. The Ripon Indians crushed Dixon 46 to 0.
The 13th ranked Oakdale Mustangs won Friday’s away playoff game against the No. 4 ranked Patterson Tigers in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Division III playoffs. The Mustangs pulled out a close one by a score of 21-17.
