Calaveras County, CA — There is a mud/rock slide on Highway 12 in Calaveras County.
The CHP reports that the embankments caved in on both sides of the highway, and there is mud covering the highway near Southworth Road, just east of Wallace. Caltrans has been notified of the situation and will be sending a crew to assess the situation. Travel with caution this morning. Click here to view a map.
