Sonora, CA — All the Mother Lode mountain passes are closed this morning due to snow. Caltrans closed both Highway 108 Sonora Pass and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass yesterday evening. Highway 108 was closed at Kennedy Meadows. Highway 4 was closed after the Mount Reba turnoff. Yosemite National Park officials shut down Highway 120 Tioga Pass at Crane Flat before the Thanksgiving holiday and it remains closed.
Caltrans says as of now, the Highway 108 and 4 passes are not closed for the winter and will reopen as soon as the passes are suitable for motorists to travel the roadways.
