Hard Freeze Warning Issued For Mother Lode

The National Weather Service has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for both the central valley and the Mother Lode below 2000 feet, through 8 am Tuesday.

Overnight temperatures will continue to range from the mid-teens to the upper twenties.

Cold temperatures can damage sensitive vegetation, harm pets and livestock and cause pipes to burst.

Overnight temperatures well below freezing are expected through at least Wednesday morning.
