Cold Stops Sewer Repairs

Sonora,CA: Our cold weather has caused delays for sewer work in Downtown Sonora that was slated to begin yesterday. Instead, the deep freeze pushed the work back a day and motorists will face traffic delays.

Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) crews will be installing a new sewer pipeline. There will be one-way traffic controls on Stewart Street between William Street and Lytton Street from Tuesday thru Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Drivers may experience five minute delays with flaggers directing traffic. TUD asks that you please drive with extreme caution and obey the traffic control signs in this area.
