Sacramento, CA — Governor Jerry Brown will kick off the New Year with a new budget proposal and a State Address.
Brown’s office reports that he will reveal his 2014-15 budget proposal Friday, January 10th at a 9 am press conference in Sacramento.
Then on January 22nd he will deliver the annual State of the State Address at 9 am before the California Legislature in the state capitol. Brown will layout his vision for areas like state prisons, education and social services.
California’s current $96.4 billion budget will expire on July 31st.
