Yosemite, CA , — In honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, you can enjoy Yosemite National Park for free. The Park, in addition to all national parks, is waiving admission on Monday, January 20.
Park Ranger Kari Cobb says, “Anybody can come in at any time during the day on Monday and get free into the park no matter what time they come in or how many people they have in their car.”
One note, the $20 dollar fee waiver is only good for admission into the park. All camping, lodging or activities in the park will still cost you.
In addition, Park officials caution although the weather has been warm, visitors should be aware of ice on the roadways.
