Jamestown, CA — One person has died in a pick-up versus a logging truck crash near Jamestown.
Initially, the CHP reported a Toyota pick-up truck smashed into a logging truck and went off the roadway rolled over and landed on its top. The CHP now reports the pick-up truck and semi-logging truck crashed on Sims Road near the Highway 120 intersection and both ended up in a pasture. When emergency crews arrived on the scene one person was trapped in the pick-up and unresponsive. The CHP reports one victim was freed from the pick-up and was taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The person later died of those injuries.
