Sonora, CA — The CHP reports one person has died in wreck on the Highway 108 Bypass.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. near the Peaceful Oak Road ramp. The CHP reports a pickup and a sedan hit head-on. One of the vehicles overturned and caught on fire. There were also reports someone may have been trapped inside that vehicle.
Traffic was backed up for about 10 minutes as crews cleared debris from the area. No further details are being released by the CHP at this time.
