Sonora, CA – A local business group is speaking out about the impacts of lawsuits on Tuolumne County.
It is the focus of a new myMotherLode.com blog authored by Tuolumne County Business Council President Darrell Slocum. It references the most recent land-use lawsuit that was filed by the Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center over the County’s handling of the Blue Mountain Minerals expansion.
The Business Council’s blog speaks about a trickle-down effect that the group feels lawsuits are having on school enrollment, employment, and the cost of living in the county. The entire blog can be found by clicking here.
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will focus on this topic, as well as the overall State of Tuolumne County. Guests will include Slocum, Tuolumne County Business Council Executive Director Ron Kopf, Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chairman Evan Royce, Tuolumne County Administrator Craig Pedro and Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority Director Larry Cope.
