Demographics and our Community

Sonora, CA — The population change in Tuolumne County has risen and fallen with the state of the economy. Larry Cope, Director of Economic Development for the Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority shares the latest numbers in his new blog here.

Cope plans to write more blogs for myMotherLode with insights on information from the National Census and State of California databases. He says the blogs will help others, “Learn more about fellow residents, customers, clients, and market segments with demographic surveys and do more to meet the needs of your target audience.”

Cope says, “Whether you’re developing products, providing health services, understanding public opinion-or even selling cars-knowing more about the demographic makeup of survey respondents can tell you a lot.”
