San Andreas, CA — There is a notable truck accident that officials are on scene of in San Andreas.
“We have an overturned tanker-truck, and the driver has been taken to the hospital,” says CHP Officer Rebecca Myers. “It happened on Gold Oak Road, just off of Highway 49. It happened on private property, so the roadway is not blocked.”
It is not immediately known what type of injuries the unidentified male driver sustained, or what caused the crash.
A haz-mat team has been called to the scene, out of concerns that the truck may be leaking the substance ethylene glycol. The side of the truck indicates that it was carrying this type of substance, but it is not immediately known how much might be inside.
Expect activity in this particular area of San Andreas throughout the day.
