No Gun At Bret Harte High

Angels Camp, CA — The Angels Camp Police Department reports Bret Harte High School has been claimed “safe and secure” after being placed on lockdown status earlier this morning.

There was a report called in to law enforcement around 10am that someone was on campus with a gun. The Police Department searched the area and found the claim to be unfounded.

The call came in after the Every 15 minutes campaign wrapped up this morning, which was a simulation of a DUI accident. Everything is now back to normal at Bret Harte High. We’ll pass along more information as it becomes available.
