Sonora, CA — A restaurant and a national clothing chain will take up residence in the former Sonora Blockbuster building.
We reported previously that Panda Express will utilize a section of the Blockbuster site. Sonora City Administrator Tim Miller confirms that the other half will be filled by the clothing store Maurices. The nationwide clothing retailer has 12 stores in California, with the closest being in Manteca.
There is no word yet on when the two new businesses will begin operating.
The Sonora Blockbuster closed its doors in early 2013.
