Sonora, CA — A large crowd is expected at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds today for mourners to say their final farewells to Rick Roberts. A motorists alert, Stockton Road area could be congested for Roberts’ memorial service. The service begins at 3 p.m. at the fairground arena.
On the morning of February 16, 49-year-old, Rick Roberts died of gunshot wounds to the chest at his auto body business at 280 Mono Way. No one has been arrested for his murder. Sonora Police Chief Mark Stinson recently stated that investigators are waiting for results from physical evidence taken at the crimes scene by the California Department of Justice.
