Tuolumne, CA — The Board of Trustees for Summerville High School have called for a special meeting this afternoon to hire an engineer for the stadium’s concrete bleacher design.
Last month the board decided to go with concrete bleachers, instead of aluminum. Superintendent Robert Griffith said the change will save somewhere between $200-300K. The item on today’s agenda calls for hiring Biggs Cardosa Associates Inc. as the engineering firm. Funding for the project will come from the voter approved Measure H bond.
Today’s special meeting starts at 1pm in the Summerville High School District Office.
