Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is looking for a man suspected of selling stolen guns.
The PD has been investigating 49-year-old Dean Ray Bennett, who is a convicted felon, and is not allowed to have firearms in his possession. A search warrant was recently carried out at a residence that Bennett had been staying at in Tuolumne. Bennett was nowhere to be found, but detectives found several firearms and methamphetamine. Officers did locate 58-year-old Janice Edens inside, and she was arrested.
Anyone with information about Bennett’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sonora PD at 209-532-8141.
