Sacramento, CA — A new poll shows that Governor Jerry Brown has a big lead in the race for Governor.
The survey found that 57% of likely voters support Brown’s re-election efforts, 17% support Republican Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, three percent are in favor of Republican Laguna Hills Mayor Andrew Blount, and two percent support Republican former U.S. Treasury official Neal Kashkari. 20% of the likely voters said they are undecided at this point.
With the state’s open primary system, the top two finishers in June will move on to the November General Election, regardless of party. Brown, a Democrat, is seeking his 4th term in office.
