Motorists can now travel the whole length of Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass and Highway 108 Sonora Pass.
“This is earlier,” says Angela DaPrato Caltrans Spokesperson, “Caltrans goal is to always open the passes before Memorial Weekend so having the passes open early in April is actually really early.”
Both highways opened at noon today. There is no word from Yosemite National Park on Highway 120 Tioga Pass.
