Sonora, CA — The stormy weather heading through the Mother Lode brought some hail and slowed commuters drive home.
Small pin sized hail hit downtown Sonora this afternoon. There was also the roar of thunder as the spring storm rolled through.
Motorist heading home on the Highway 108 near Soulsbyville and Twain Harte had to slow down due to the slushy conditions. The wet conditions are expected to continue overnight.
