Calaveras Supervisors To Discuss County Counsel

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Supervisors will vote whether to appoint an Interim County Counsel.

On today’s agenda is a vote whether to appoint Megan Stedtfeld to the position for six months, effective June 28^th. That is when current County Counsel Janis Elliot will be retiring.

The Board will vote on a resolution to accept the Murphys Library Building as a gift to the county from Murphys Voluntary Library Inc. The Supervisors will also decide whether to approve the Calaveras Transit Intercity Service Feasibility Study, and authorize the Public Works Department to apply for Federal Transit Administration Rural Transit funds.

Today’s meeting starts at 5pm at the Government Center in San Andreas.
