Glencoe, CA — Emergency crews are on the scene of a solo crash near Glencoe. The wreck happened on Highway 26 near Ridge Road. The CHP reports a person is pinned in the car and crews are working to free them. Highway 26 is shutdown at this time.
We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
Update 10:20 am: The CHP reports emergency crews have freed the person from the car and CPR is being administered. Also, an air ambulance is heading to the scene.
Update 10:40 am: The CHP reports this is now a fatal accident. Highway 26 is still closed and traffic is backed up as emergency crews work to remove the debris.
