New Details On Rollover Crash

Twain Harte, CA — The CHP reports three teenagers were involved in the solo vehicle crash in Twain Harte just after 12:30 in the afternoon.  Two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old were in the rollover wreck.

The CHP reports a 16-year-old male from Twain Harte was driving a 1996 Chevy sedan southbound on Tuolumne Road North near south Knox Road.  For unknown reason the car went over the double-yellow lines, smashed into a dirt embankment and flipped several times.  The car came to rest on its roof, blocking the roadway.

A 16-year-old female passenger from Soulsbyville was flown to Modesto Doctors Medical Center suffering from a broken arm and possible head and internal injuries.  Another 17-year-old male passenger from Tuolumne City and the driver were not injured in the crash.

The roadway was down to one-way traffic control for about 20 minutes as the wreckage was cleared.  The CHP reports alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash.
