Sonora, CA – The City of Sonora reports that minor traffic delays can be expected this week as part of the Mono Way widening project.
Mountain View Road will be reconstructed this week, as part of the overall widening project, so expect some minor delays in that area.
New storm drain installation on the north side of Mono Way will continue from Greenley Rd, east to the old Bird House building on Rogers Road. By mid-week, grading for road widening, new sidewalk, curbs and gutters will begin following the storm drain installation. Westbound traffic will be limited at times to one lane and short delays can be expected.
There will still be access to all businesses along Mono Way during construction.
