Twain Harte, CA — A Mother Lode man has pleaded guilty to four counts of child exploitation and a count of receiving child pornography.
According to the plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fresno, between 2008-2012, Curtis Benjamin Hults created images of four different minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, stored them on a digital camera, and then transferred them onto his computer. Hults also downloaded from the internet over 600 images of minors engaged in sexual conduct.
Hults will be sentenced on September 2nd in Fresno. He faces 15-30 years in prison for each of the sexual exploitation offenses. Various law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation, including the FBI, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Visalia Police Department and the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office.
