Sacramento, CA — A California Senator will be visiting Texas to talk about advantages of doing business in California.
Taking a page out of the textbook of Texas Governor Rick Perry, Republican Senator Ted Gaines says he will be visiting the Texas State Capitol to talk about why he feels California is a good destination for business expansion and economic development. He also plans to speak with Texas business owners to learn about the pros and cons of doing business in Texas, in hopes of using that information to create new job creating legislation in California.
Gaines visit is in response to Governor Perry’s recent trip where he showed up in Sacramento driving a Tesla, in hopes of attracting that company to build a battery factory down south. Perry has cited the lower taxes in Texas and friendly business climate.
Senator Gaines previously represented Calaveras County, prior to redistricting.
