Drift Smoke From Monticello Fire

Sonora, CA — Smoke is covering portions of the Mother Lode today due to a large fire in Yolo County.

CAL Fire reports that the smoke is from the 7,000 acre Monticello Fire burning near Lake Berryessa. The fire is 30% contained. 1,372 firefighters are on scene of the blaze that started Friday evening. 40 homes are considered threatened.
