Jamestown, CA — Authorities are looking for who stole some Tillamook Cheese company vehicles from a parking lot in Manteca.
They included three Volkswagen mini buses, a Ford F350 truck, and a cargo trailer. The cargo trailer, and the Ford truck, were found abandoned and set on fire, in the area of O’Byrnes Ferry Road and New Peoria Flat Road, outside of Jamestown. The truck and trailer had been spotted in the area of Copperopolis, prior to being set on fire.
The three buses remain missing, and Tillamook is offering a $10,000 reward for their safe recovery. They were stolen Saturday from the Hampton Inn parking lot at 1461 Bass Pro Drive, and the two burned vehicles were recovered early Sunday morning. The mini buses were inside the cargo trailer at the time they were stolen. Anyone with information should call the Manteca Police Department at 209-456-8101.
