Sonora, CA — T.U.D. has a state water specialist on tap to discuss the state’s drought situation and give his insights on local conservation efforts.
Executive director of the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Timothy Quinn will be the featured guest speaker at two meetings next week. The Association is the largest water organization of its kind in the nation. In addition, the group’s 450 local public water agencies’ members deliver nearly 90% of the water in California.
The first meeting will be held at the District offices at 18885 Nugget Boulevard in Sonora this Monday at 1 pm. Here is T.U.D.’s list of topics for discussion:
There will also be a tour of the PG & E Main Canal 4 ditch and Lyons Reservoir.
The second meeting on Tuesday will be held at the Pinecrest Lake Fir Group Picnic Day Use Area starting at 9:30 am.
