Sonora, CA — A group has compiled the salaries and benefits paid out to individual teachers and educators across the state.
The California Policy Center has added the information to its database of public sector employees. You can find the list, broken down into individual districts, by clicking here. The information was compiled through Freedom of Information Act requests. The database is part of a project called “Transparent California.”
The group earlier released the salaries and benefits paid to various county officials in the state. Click here to find the numbers from last year.
The California Policy Center started the project so that taxpayers could find out how much money is going towards various public sector jobs.
