Don Pedro Fire Started By Lightning

Tuolumne County, CA — CAL Fire has determined what caused yesterday’s 10-acre fire in the 9000 block of Old Don Pedro Road.

Fire investigators say it was ignited by a lightning strike. The fire was first reported at 12:25pm, and it burned grass and oak woodland. Air and ground resources responded to the fire from CAL Fire and the Tuolumne County Fire Department.
