Tuolumne, CA — Last night the Summerville High School Board of Trustees approved a contract for the construction of new concrete bleachers.
The agreement with Robert E. Boyer states that the cost will not exceed $935,000. It’s part of the roughly $4 million overall Measure H stadium renovation. Because of the construction, the plan is for the first two home football games to be played at offsite locations.
“Our target completion date is October 4th,” says Summerville High School Superintendent Robert Griffith. “Of course that’s still fluid, and there could be delays, but so far, this project has gone very well.”
Once completed, the stadium will have a completely new track and field, improved snack shack, and new bleachers.
