Crash Sparks Vegetation Fire

Knights Ferry, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are on the scene of head-on crash on Highway 108 that sparked a vegetation fire.

The CHP reports one person is pinned in the vehicle, emergency crews are administering CPR to another victim, and one vehicle is fully engulfed in flames. The accident is located near Willms Road near Lover’s Leap just west of Knights Ferry. The highway is closed in both directions and traffic is backing up.  We will bring you more details as soon as they are available.
