Sonora, CA — Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and Tuolumne Utilities District (T.U.D.) have put out a new video highlighting how different partners are working together to dealing with the drought.
The video titled “Partnering during the Drought” is two minutes and was filmed in July at Lyons Reservoir. The video was produced by PG&E and is as part of its Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report, which will be released this week. T.U.D. Spokesperson Lisa Westbrook says they have a unique relationship.
“They [PG&E] have a hydropower generation facility that they are operating, but they also have to keep in mind the need of the water that is affected by T.U.D. and the whole community, so it’s quite the balancing act,” says Westbrook.
T.U.D. General Manager Tom Scesa is featured on the video, which can be seen by clicking here.
