Council To Discuss Vision Sonora And Water

Sonora, CA — Tonight Sonora City Council will vote on an item related to the Vision Sonora project.

The city will decide whether to request proposals for engineering and environmental clearance work related to a beautification and transit project on Washington Street. The Council will also vote whether to endorse the Measure 1 water bond that is on the November ballot, and decide whether to send a letter to Assemblyman Frank Bigelow and Senator Tom Berryhill in hopes that Tuolumne County can receive available AB 900 jail dollars.

Tonight’s meeting starts at 5pm at City Hall.
