Calaveras County To Discuss General Plan

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County leaders will meet this morning to talk about the General Plan update.

There will be a joint meeting for agencies including the Board of Supervisors, In Home Supportive Services Public Authority, Calaveras County Air Pollution Control District and the Planning Commission. One topic will be giving direction on a timeline and future review of the General Plan update. It’s considered a road map for growth in Calaveras County, and it has been in development for several years.

The Supervisors will also vote whether to authorize the Calaveras Council of Governments to apply to Caltrans for grants for a Highway 49 San Andreas Corridor enhancement plan, and a watershed management plan.

Today’s regular session meeting will get underway at 9am at the Government Center in San Andreas.
