Sonora, CA – The CHP is reporting one person has died and two people have suffered major injuries in a crash. The solo vehicle wreck happened on the 12000 block of Campo Seco Road in Sonora just after 7 p.m.
The CHP reports a Jeep Wrangler went off the roadway and hit a pole. One person was ejected from the Jeep. The roadway was blocked for more than an hour and a half as crews cleared the debris.

Update 9 p.m.: The CHP reports the name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of family.
