Sonora, CA — Hear from the new Supervisor of the Stanislaus National Forest.
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature Jeanne Higgins, who took over for the retiring Susan Skalski in early September. She will talk about Rim Fire recovery efforts, travel management, and other issues facing the forest.
Higgins grew up in California and has worked in several locations across the country with the U.S. Forest Service. She was most recently a Deputy Regional Forester in New Mexico.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
