There are still some games to be played next week, but the Wildcats have already clinched the Mother Lode League title. The Wildcats attacked their opponents at every game and walked away undefeated in the regular season. Last night, they took on Bret Harte and defeated the Bull Frogs 42 to 7. Sonora finished the season with a record of 9 to 1. Their only loss was to Oakdale in a pre-season game. Next week, the Wildcats can rest up for the playoffs as they have a bye week.
Summerville High School was on a bye week, the Bears will celebrate their first homecoming next week at the new stadium taking on Linden, the team Calaveras High beat on the road in a close game last night, 16 to 7.
