Sonora Woman Missing

Sonora, CA – The Sonora Police Department has put out a missing persons bulletin.  Officers are looking for a 21-year-old woman who could be in need of medical aid.

Investigators say Haley Merz of Sonora has been missing since yesterday.

“She ran away from her mother’s residence,” says Chief Mark Stinson.  “She is considered at risk with some medical issues.”  However, Stinson could not elaborate further.

Merz is described as  5’6”, 125 lbs. with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes.  She has a three-heart tattoo on the inside of her right ankle.  Merz was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black pants, and tan UGG boots.
