Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Administrator Craig Pedro will give an update of efforts to acquire funding for the jail project.
It is one of many topics he will discuss on Mother Lode Views this weekend. We reported previously that Amador County recently chose to pass up AB 900 jail money, and Tuolumne County is hoping to receive a large chunk. However, there are different variables going on behind the scenes in Sacramento, which Pedro will address.
He will also talk about the potential impact of the state’s new $7.5 billion water bond on the county, and new groundwater regulations signed by the Governor.
In addition, he will preview some upcoming major road projects that will occur over the next few years.
