Fall Craft And Christmas Events

This weekend is November’s 2nd Saturday Art Night and also features many seasonal craft and bake fairs. Starting at 5pm galleries, restaurants, and shops offer art, live music and more. The 5th Annual ITSA Film Festival at the Opera Hall will take a 2 hour break to allow for strolling 2nd Saturday galleries. This Saturday is the 6th Annual Nutcracker Tea Party hosted by Soroptimist International of Sonora. The event features a storyteller, Christmas music, special visitors from the North Pole, tea sandwiches, desserts and tea or apple cider. Proceeds will go to the Scholarship Program, details on tickets are in the event listing here.

There will be an Advent Tea and Creche Display and Presentation on Christmas Legends and Traditions at Our Lady of the Sierra Catholic Church. The Saturday event details are here.

Annual fundraiser of the Women’s Fellowship of the Sonora United Methodist Church will feature a Soup Luncheon, Bake and Craft sale. Home made baked goods and craft items will be for sale. For details about the Saturday event view the event listing.

Another Fall Craft Fair will be held at Bret Harte on Saturday. The event will raise money for the football program, more details are here.

A Christmas Faire with bake sale, hand made useful items, and lunch will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. There will be a drawing for a hand made quilt, local artist paintings and family baskets. All funds raised will go to local and worldwide missions, details are here.

The 29th Annual Greeley Hill Christmas Craft Fair is a two day event in Coulterville. Details about what is available at the Craft Fair are here.

If you already sent in your RSVP, enjoy the All Goat Seminar & Field Day. The seminar event is for 4-H, FFA, Grange and Independent livestock exhibitors,parents, advisors and volunteer leaders in Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, El Dorado and Tuolumne counties. Details are posted here.
